AEIC Initiatives & Commitment

The Africa Energy Information Centre (AEIC) is dedicated to benefiting local communities and regions across Africa, with a particular focus on areas associated with the exploration and utilization of energy resources. Our efforts extend to:

• Rural and Underserved Communities: AEIC seeks to empower rural and underserved communities by promoting access to clean and affordable energy solutions. This includes initiatives to provide electricity, promote sustainable cooking methods, and enhance overall quality of life.
• Environmental Conservation: Our commitment to environmental stewardship aims to protect and preserve the natural resources and ecosystems in regions where energy exploration and development occur. We work to mitigate the environmental impact of energy activities and promote responsible practices.
• Workforce and Skill Development: AEIC places a strong emphasis on capacity building and workforce development. We strive to create opportunities for local residents to acquire skills and knowledge that enable them to actively participate in the energy sector, thus improving livelihoods.

HOW WE DO IT

Research and Knowledge Dissemination: AEIC conducts extensive research on various aspects of energy, including renewable energy, energy access, environmental impact, and local content policies.
